Aftermesh ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the Amazon sellers who use our platform and the buyers who interact with our feedback pages. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and how you can control it.
From sellers: account email, name, password (hashed), Amazon marketplace and store identifiers you provide, billing details (handled by our third-party payment processor; we do not store full card numbers), and product information you upload.
From buyers (through your insert cards): the feedback they choose to submit (sentiment, optional comment, optional email if they request follow-up), the Amazon order ID if they enter it, and a privacy-preserving session identifier to prevent duplicate submissions.
We do not collect Amazon buyer profile information, payment details, or shipping addresses.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share data only with: (a) infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, payment processing, analytics) acting under our instructions; (b) when required by law.
Our website uses cookies and Google Analytics 4 to understand aggregate traffic and improve the product. These tools collect a privacy-preserving identifier, page URLs, referrer, and approximate location (country / region) — they do not see your account password or buyer feedback content. You can opt out by using your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or by blocking analytics cookies. Inside the seller dashboard, we use only essential cookies required for authentication.
If a buyer opts in to receive emails from a seller through Aftermesh, we record explicit consent (the consent text shown, the timestamp, and the IP address). Sellers may use this list only for the purposes the buyer agreed to. Buyers can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.
You have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email [email protected] and we'll respond within 30 days.
Account data is kept for as long as your account is active. Buyer feedback is kept for as long as the related seller account exists, plus 90 days after deletion. Inactive subscribers are pruned after 24 months.
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Passwords use bcrypt. We do not have access to your Amazon Seller Central credentials — those stay in your browser via the Aftermesh Chrome extension.
