What this tool checks, and what it cannot

Amazon's rule effective 27 July 2026 caps titles at 75 characters including spaces for every category except media (books, music, video, software).

    • 75 is a ceiling, not a single value. Some categories — beauty and grocery among them — are tighter. Pick your category above for the closest match, and always confirm against the limit shown in Seller Central.
    • Item Highlights adds 125 searchable characters below the title. Write comma-separated phrases, not sentences.
    • Enforcement. Titles left over the limit get rewritten by Amazon's AI on its own schedule.

This tool is an aid, not a compliance guarantee. Always review the result before publishing.

Bad reviews cost more than a bad title
